Dr. Seema Arora is Deputy Director in School of Insurance Studies . She holds degrees of B.Sc, M.A (Eng. Lit) from University of Rajasthan and also holds licentiateship, associateship and fellowship certification from Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai . She holds a Ph.D in Insurance from National Law University, Jodhpur and has an experience of over 14 years in teaching at postgraduate level. She specializes in life and health insurance . She has been a versatile professional and has worked with Life Insurance Corporation of India for about 2 decades. At School of Insurance Studies , she teaches Principles and practice of life Insurance, Life Insurance application and underwriting, Group Insurance and pensions, Actuarial aspects of Insurance and Health Insurance. She has participated and presented several papers in various National and International Conferences and has to her credit several publications in various Insurance journals. She has also participated and delivered expert lectures in training sessions/ Seminars / Insurance awareness programs. She has successfully done a project work for Star health Insurance Company in 2013 . She organized a National Seminar under the aegis of National Law University, Jodhpur on the theme ” Insurance as a vehicle for weaving social security for women ” in 2016.
